World AIDS Day

In connection with World AIDS day on December1,2006, cycle ralley was organised which started in Vadalur Knowledge Centre and passthrough Serakuppam, Abatharanapuram, Poosalikuppam, Vanathirayapuram, Thenkuthu and concluded in Vadlur Knowledge Centre.The total participants were 17 both boys and girls.

Vadalur Knowledge Centre - founded by John Nelson, Fellow of Jamsedji Tata National Virtual Academy an initiative of MS Swaminathan Research Foundation and inducted by Dr.APJ Abdul kalam to work for rural Knowledge Revolution. Vadalur Knowledge Centre - is national partner in Mission2007:Every Village a Knowledge Centre.
